Ecoinno (HK) Ltd. is a Hong Kong technology company focusing on the green solution to plastic. With years of attempts and discoveries, GCM technology has been developed and patented as a new alternative material to replace plastic. The GCM technology which is based on pure plant fibre material and could be a replacement to plastic food containers, cups and packaging, without any plastic liner, coating , lamination and use of fluorinated oil repellent. Since Ecoinno products are pure plant fibre, their chemical composition is pure cellulose. Cellulose is an abundant natural polymer which could resist high temperature, freezing, high mechanical strength, totally degradable and compostable. The single cellulose material is conducive to food waste treatment. The used products could be transferred to food waste plant for anaerobic digestion to generate clean energy and compost. Circular economy is attained by reducing material uses, redesigns products and service to be less resources intensive, thereby recaptures “waste” as resources to manufacturing new products and clean energy. Our key is to inspire various industries to consider using GCM to replace existing materials in their products.
